Here is an all matching number pontiac Trans Am 1979. This car has been always well taken care of, previuos owner rebuilt the engine less than 500 miles ago. This car looks all original, the good thing if you love fast cars is that this one has some upgrades on the engine that makes this car a true rocket, however you can ' t notice those performance components are there since the intention was not to show any modifications.

The body is scratch/dent/rust free, is a 11U 11L matching number (that means white). The beautifull original 15 x 8 snowflake rims look just amazing, and the Eagle Good year 225/ 70/R15 tires have less than 20 miles on them. This car was painted about 1 1/2 years due to minor scratches and paint fading, car had 58k miles when this was done (according to previuos owner) and by the way it drives, they way the doors close, and the tighness I have no reason to doubt those miles aren't true. However miles are expempt, but I guarantee no disspointments.

The interior is very nice, door panels are flawless, seats are rips/tear free and in very good shape. This car spent a long time under the sun prior to restoration, so the only flaws you might want to correct is a little dry rear plastic trim in the interior that are easy to replace and that are easy to find on ebay in good condition. The dash has a couple common cracks but they are covered with dash mat, so they are not noticeable. All gauges work perfect including the clock (will be exceptionally rare to find one of these with the clock in working order) The A/C blows very cold. Power windows also do their job and t tops are in very good shape, including the weather stripping, ( one of the interior plastic trims is missing on drivers t top...it will costs about $25 to replace). You also might want to replace the parking brake cable. Besides that the car looks showroom condition and drives like a muscle car should. Power and handling is all there considering is 25 year old car.

I personally polished the snowflakes to make them look like new. I had this car several months while fixing things here and there, I was going to keep it but new project forces the sale ( I always find a new car to work on, it is my hobbie). The steering wheel is a NOS brand new wheel, and tilts.

Based on my experience with so many TA's I have owned, I can say this a very fine sample, I really like this one a lot. The white and blue combo is extremely beautifull, specially in sunny states like here in florida, it keeps the car cooler than the bandit black one ( I have a mint showroom 77 special edition like the one Burt drove in the movie, just ask if you are interested,I'm open to offers, if you are crazy about this cars like me and desire the black and white combo just email me, what the hell, life is once!). The powerfull engine 403 ci on this 79 will smoke any other car on the road, the roar of the engine is just amazing, it has the original dual spliters and true dual exahust system.

As any other 25+ year old car you will always find something you want to improve, is part of the entertainment with old cars. I think this car will double its price soon, like trans ams of early 70's.
