This is a TRUE Special Edition car from 1977 just like in the movie. The car is PHS Documented as you can see from the photos below. This car comes loaded with, Power locks, Air Conditioning, Cruise control, original 8-track, Hurst T-tops, and most importantly Special Edition Y82 Appearance Package.

EXTERIOR: The exterior of this car is in excellent condition. The paint and all of the decals are new. All of the correct GM Decals and striping is there just like it was from the factory. There are no decal misplacements like you see with so many other Trans Am that have been repainted. This car underwent a full restoration just a month ago. The underside, trunk and engine of this car looks as good as the exterior. This is a True Y82 Special Edition Trans Am just like Burt Reynolds drove back in 1977. The Bandit would be proud to drive around in this pristine example.

ENGINE and OPTIONS: This Trans Am is equipped with the Pontiac 400. The original owner has rebuilt this engine from the ground up. He replaced all of the interior parts with new so you can rest assured this car runs just like it did when it left the factory floor. This Trans Am with the Pontiac 400 puts out a good amount of horsepower. The car is also equipped with the automatic transmission. The car is also fully loaded with power locks, Air Conditioning which works well, Cruise control, and Power Locks. It also has the Hurst T-tops which was standard on the Y82 Special Edition. It also has the original radio and 8-track player. All of the gauges are functioning like they should. The underside of the car is in great shape for the car being 27 years old. There were new brakes, suspension, bushings, shocks, and springs installed. The car also has headers and brand new true dual exhaust exiting out original exhaust tips. INTERIOR: The Interior of this car is also in excellent condition. The front and rear seat have no tears or rips or fading to them and are brand new. The door panels are in excellent condition with no tears or rips in them either. The dash in great shape with no cracks to it. The headliner has been replaced with new as well as the carpeting and rear deck shelf which still has the original radio speaker cover. All of the weatherstripping was replaced and is in excellent condition.
