Just to give you a brief description on this Beautiful Myan Red Trans Am. It is a two owner, 1978 Trans Am with 21,000 original Miles. It has the Pontiac L78 400 (code YU) that runs as smooth as it did when it left the Showroom floor. This car has been well cared for mechanically. It has the Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission that not only shifts into gear with two fingers, it also shifts quietly and smoothly through all of the gears. This car rides like a dream. Driving down the road feels like you're riding on air. Not only does the engine run smooth throughout the RPM's and the Transmission shifts like a new car, but even the suspension feel like you just drove it off of the factory floor.

How many TA's rounding only 20k original miles are in existence today?? I am sure very few.

All of the mechanical options in the car work like new. It has cruise control, A/C, tilt wheel, and the original radio which is not installed at the moment, but does come with the car and is tested and fully functional. All of the lights, brake lights, and turn signals work with no malfunctioning gauges. Even the clock works!! How many 1978 Trans Ams can you say that about. It also has the Original Goodyear Steel-Belted Radials that have 60% tread remaining with no cracks or dry-rot or anything. It also has the original 15x7 Rally rims in Red that will go with the car. I installed new 15x8 Snowflakes with BF Goodrich Radial T/A's for appearance and also safety. So, not only do you get the snowflakes, but also the original rims and tires just in case you want to go to the show and be all Original.

Exterior:

The exterior of the car is in excellent shape with no spider-webbing which is so popular with these cars. All of the exterior decals are in excellent shape with no signs of fading or peeling. Even the interior decals like the door sticker and engine emission sticker are still like new. There is one small door ding on the drivers door and fender (see photos below). There are also a few small chips just behind the drivers door, but not enough to consider a re-paint on this car. We believe this car has almost all the original paint and only few touch ups done during the years, remember this car was garaged most of its life, so its like a real time capsule that we are offering here.

Interior:

The interior of the car is the black Lombardy cloth and is in Mint condition with no rips and any of the seats, no fading, and no scratches. The dash and the center console has no cracks in it and looks perfect. The headliner is there and intact and is not sagging at all. The door panels are in excellent condition and the handles are not broken or loose which was also popular. The carpet is also in great shape with no tears or fading and even has some Trans Am floor mats from back in the day. Like I had mentioned before, all of the interior gauges work like new , just take a look to the pics !!!

In a nutshell, you are getting one of the finest examples of a 1978 Trans Am that I have seen in quite some time.
