This is a museum quality 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary . This is the actual car that was Used by Johnny Lightning Collectors Club to be reproduced in miniature and sold to Toy Stores across the Nation.

It has 27,300 original Documented Miles. This car is a 100% rust free car that has been garaged all her life and is a real rare find and an unique piece of Pontiac History.

For a real collector or Trans Am enthusiasts, this is a rare find. The 10th Anniversary Trans Am was in production for 1979 to commemorate the 10th production year of the Pontiac Trans Am. There were over 117,000 Trans Ams produced in 1979, only 7,500 were 10th Anniversaries. Only 5,683 of them were produced with the 403 and automatic transmission like this one. This accounts for less than 5% of the total production of Trans Ams in 1979.

This car comes with all of the Original paperwork including the build sheet, owners manuals and folders,

warranty information, inspection sheet, and more important all the papers from the Toy company, news paper ads with interrview to the owner, a diecast car from the original production of toys and more.

EXTERIOR:

It has the original 2 tone (grey and silver) exterior paint with the dual original factory black & red pinstripping. The extra-large bird on the hood has the Wings that extend onto the fenders. This car has the original look of the uncut shaker and outfits this extremely beautiful 10th Anniversary. This car was professionally restored by previous owner, and only driven ocassionally. Taillights are in pristine condition, absolutely crack free like the day this car rolled off the line. There is no rust anywhere and no visible signs of wear, she is ready to go any show and pull in trophies!!! The original factory turbo wheels are like new, with complete wheelcaps that also are mint , the BF Goodrich are like brand new as you see in the photos. T-tops are scracth free with no leaks, take them off and drive anywhere feeling the air of the open road.

ENGINE:

This car has the 6.6 liter Olds 403ci with only 27,300 original miles. engine is plenty of power and will start at the drop of a dime (or any coin). The engine runs very smooth and has recently been completely serviced. The enigne does not burn any oil or have any leaks of any kind. You can let this car sit on your new concrete driveway for weeks and not see a drop when you move the car. The original tranny shifts easy and smooth like a new car. This car is faster than many new sports cars, remember this model was ahead of its time.

INTERIOR:

The interior is absolutely mint and is all original and looks Outstanding, there are no tears, waves or cracks in the seats. Dash is incredible, not a single crack or scratch, the swirled dash bezel is perfect and all gauges work perfect including the clock (IT WORKS AND KEEP ACCURATE TIME!!!). The carpet, headliner, rear speaker tray, door panels..... everything is in perfect shape. All glass is crack and scratch free from front windsheild to rear window. All power options work great, even the power locks that usually do not work in this models are working without hesitation, power windows are fast, and powertrunk release works as it should. Has the original factory digital radio-casste 8-track that works perfect, we will include a 8-track cassette to make you feel like going back to 1979, some interior trim and plastic where redyed by previos owner due to minor sun fading. Interior is absolutely mint.

Trunk is also clean and intact, spare space saver tire with canister in its place and never used. The undercarriage of the car is in original condition and has never been touched, there is no rust, and was cleaned so you can show it off.
