1979 Trans Am

Just to give you a brief description on this Trans Am. It is a 1979 Trans Am with 92,000 Miles. It has the Pontiac W72 high performance 400 with the WS6 handling package. It is also equipped with the Close Ratio 4-Speed transmission. This is one of only 2,917 Trans Ams made in 1979 with the Pontiac 400 and 4-Speed with T-tops. So, this car would be a nice restoration project. The car is a very solid car and runs great. All it needs is some paint and decals and a new interior and you are done.

Options:

All of the mechanical options work and function like the should. All of the lights, brake lights, and turn signals work with no malfunctioning gauges. This car is decked out with the W72 High Performance Pontiac 400 engine which was rated at 220hp and 320ft.lbs. of torque. It also has the Close Ratio 4-Speed transmission with the WS6 handling package which included the 15x8 snowflakes. It has a 3.23 rear end ratio with Posi. It also comes with power windows, tilt wheel, and Air Conditioning.

Exterior:

The exterior of the car is in good shape and with a new coat of paint and new decals would be a show winner. The car is a very solid and straight car and would be a great start for a restoration project. There are no dents or dings, but the paint is faded. Interior:

The interior of the car is the tan deluxe vinyl and is need of restoration. You can throw seat covers on for now and with a little interior dye could have a nice daily driver, but if you are going for the show car, then you would need to replace alot of the interior.
